We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Part-Time Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging and result-oriented Chemistry lessons to students from Grades 9–12 (CBSE/ICSE/State Board/IGCSE/NEET/JEE, as applicable). The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts to help students achieve academic success. This aligns with common expectations for tutoring-centre chemistry faculty roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry to students in small batches or one-on-one sessions.
- Plan and deliver interactive lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Explain Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and mock tests.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and provide personalized academic support.
- Prepare students for school examinations, board examinations, and competitive exams (if applicable).
- Maintain student attendance, progress records,
and performance reports.
- Communicate student progress with parents whenever required.
- Create a positive, disciplined, and inspiring learning environment.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and academic planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry or a related Science discipline.
- B.Ed. is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
- Fresh graduates with excellent academic records and strong teaching skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Strong command of Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain difficult concepts clearly.
- Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools (PowerPoint, digital boards, online platforms) is an advantage.
