About the Role

We are looking for a
PoC Engineer
to execute and validate Microsoft 365 backup Proof of Concepts (PoCs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 backup solutions, PowerShell, and APIs, along with solid documentation skills to create operational procedures and runbooks.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage Microsoft 365 backup Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
- Conduct scheduled restore and disaster recovery drills to validate backup reliability.
- Validate PoC success criteria, including backup throughput, data coverage, and recovery performance.
- Troubleshoot backup and restore issues during testing.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve backup processes and operational readiness.

Required Skills & Experience




- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 backup technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 workloads, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting and API integration.
- Experience executing Proof of Concepts (PoCs), testing, or validation activities.
- Understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.

Nice to Have
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions such as
Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, or AvePoint
.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance.
- Microsoft 365 or Azure certifications.
