About Kabila Ventures
Kabila Ventures is at the intersection of the creator economy and revenue generation. We help brands scale through high-impact GTM plans, and we professionalise niche talent. Now, we are looking for a sharp, agile Social Media Manager to work directly with the Founder to build the company and personal brand, drive thought leadership, and scale Kabila's digital footprint across LinkedIn and Instagram.
The Role
This isn't a typical "schedule posts and monitor comments" job. We are looking for a up-to-date storyteller who understands culture, trends, and video production.
You must be comfortable both behind the camera (shooting quick, high-quality content on the fly) and in the editing chair, and know when to scale production by collaborating with external videographers.
Key Responsibilities
- Founder-Led Content Strategy:
Work directly with the Founder to extract insights on the creator economy, tech partnerships, and business strategy, translating them into compelling content.
- End-to-End Video Production -
- Self-Production:
Shoot, direct,
and basic-edit quick-turnaround vertical videos (Reels) using basic gear.
- External Coordination:
Script, storyboard, and direct external videographers/editors for high-production content assets.
- Platform Management & Growth -
- LinkedIn:
Write insightful, high-engagement text posts, breakdown carousels, and strategic commentary that positions the brand as a top voice in tech and media.
- Instagram:
Own the visual narrative of Kabila and the founder, managing Reels, stories, grid aesthetics, and community engagement.
- Social Listening & Trend Jacking:
Spot emerging business, tech, and creator trends early and execute contextual content swiftly.
