Role Description
This is a full time remote role for a Senior ETL Database Test Engineer.



The role involves designing and executing test strategies for ETL processes, data pipelines, and database integrations to ensure data accuracy, consistency, performance, and reliability. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for data validation, transformation logic, and end-to-end data flows across multiple source and target systems. The Senior ETL Database Test Engineer collaborates closely with data engineers, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify defects, and drive quality improvements in data solutions. Daily activities also include root cause analysis of data issues, performance and regression testing of ETL jobs, documentation of test results, and continuous enhancement of testing frameworks and best practices.
