Amazon is hiring for the role of Business Intelligence Engineer, Prime Video India
Key Job Responsibilities
- Strong interest and ability to take complex datasets and boil them down to actionable data visualizations.
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing performance dashboards, metrics, reports, analyses, etc. to drive key business decisions.
- Build scalable, efficient, and automated data processes to inform business decision making.
- Proactively develop current metrics and studies to quantify customer behavior and reduce customer churn.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, business analytics, data analytics, data science, computer science or related field
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Speak,



write, and read fluently in English

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Experience applying basic statistical methods (e.g. regression) to difficult business problems
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)

Required Skills
- SQL – Expertise in querying and analyzing large datasets (Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.)
- Data Visualization Tools – Proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, Excel, or MicroStrategy
- Programming/Scripting – Familiarity with Python, R, or Java for data processing and analysis
- Dashboarding & Reporting – Ability to design, build, and maintain performance dashboards and reports
- Data Processing – Experience building scalable and automated data pipelines
- Customer Insights – Ability to derive insights on customer behavior
