Role Description
The Business Development Specialist role is a remote, contract position responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for Viar India across apparel, home furnishings, and technical textiles markets.



Daily activities include researching target markets, generating qualified leads, and managing a pipeline of prospective clients through digital outreach, calls, and virtual meetings. The specialist will present Viar’s manufacturing capabilities and product verticals, prepare proposals, support pricing discussions, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers. The role also involves maintaining solid client relationships, gathering feedback on market trends and customer needs, and providing regular performance and market insight reports to leadership. Collaboration with sales, production, and R&D; teams is expected to align customer requirements with Viar’s capabilities and innovation roadmap.
