Role Overview
We are looking for a Firmware Developer with hands-on experience in embedded systems development. The role requires someone who can not only develop and debug firmware, but also understand existing code thoroughly and explain it clearly during reviews, discussions, and audit-related activities. The position involves working in quality- and compliance-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain firmware for microcontroller-based systems
- Work on bare-metal and/or RTOS-based firmware
- Understand existing firmware code, debug issues, and implement enhancements
- Perform root cause analysis for firmware-related issues
- Collaborate with hardware and other cross-functional teams during development and debugging

Code Understanding & Communication
- Clearly explain firmware logic, flow, and implementation during technical discussions
- Walk through code step-by-step when required for reviews,



testing, or audits
- Maintain clear and meaningful code comments and supporting technical documentation

Quality Compliance
- Follow defined coding standards and documentation practices
- Support testing, certification, and audit-related activities
- Ensure compliance with secure coding practices, version control, and configuration management
- Assist in preparing and maintaining required technical documents

Technical Skills
Mandatory
- Solid proficiency in Embedded C / C++
- Experience working with microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex-M, AVR, PIC, or similar
- Good understanding of register-level programming, interrupts, and memory management
- Experience with firmware debugging using JTAG / SWD
- Familiarity with common development tools and IDEs (Keil, IAR, GCC, etc.)
- Strong understanding of C functions and their correct usage in firmware development
