Role Description
The Floor Manager role at Pothys Retail Private Limited is a full time, on-site position based in Madurai. The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store floor operations, including staff supervision, merchandise presentation, and customer service standards. This role involves monitoring customer flow, resolving escalations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience through timely support and assistance. The Floor Manager coordinates with store leadership to implement promotions, maintain inventory accuracy on the floor, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards. The role also includes guiding and coaching team members, conducting on-the-floor training, and ensuring adherence to company policies and operational procedures.

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills, with a focus on delivering a high-quality in-store experience.




- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with customers, team members, and management.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to oversee floor activities, merchandising, and store processes efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to coach, mentor, and develop floor staff in line with company standards.
- Experience in retail or hospitality operations, particularly in apparel or textiles, is beneficial.
- Ability to lead teams, handle peak-hour pressure, and make quick decisions on the floor is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in relevant local languages and English, along with familiarity with POS and store management systems, is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field is beneficial
