looking for a highly analytical
Assistant Manager – Business Finance (Supply Chain)
to partner closely with the Supply Chain and Leadership teams. This role is ideal for finance professionals who enjoy driving operational efficiency through data, cost optimization, and financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and fulfilment costs to identify optimization opportunities.
- Track supply chain cost performance against business plans and investigate key variances.
- Analyze COGS variances against standard costs and recommend corrective actions.
- Review import costs for raw materials and packaging to improve cost efficiency.
- Audit procurement contracts to identify pricing leakages and ensure vendor compliance with negotiated commercial terms.
- Assess demand forecast accuracy and evaluate its financial impact on inventory and supply chain performance.
- Prepare weekly financial dashboards and management reports for leadership reviews.
- Consolidate month-to-date supply chain costs and partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify industry cost trends and operational best practices.
- Support commercial negotiations by reviewing supplier contracts and financial implications.
- Drive data-backed decision-making through strong financial analysis and business insights.
What We're Looking For
- Qualification:
B.Com with
CA Inter
(or equivalent skilled qualification).
- Experience:
4–5 years in
Business Finance
within
E-commerce, FMCG, or Beauty & Personal Care
.
- Hands-on experience managing finance for operations with an annual turnover of
₹200–250 Cr+
across multiple manufacturing units and warehouses.
