Role Description
This full-time remote Database Administrator role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of grabdemo’s database environments. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring database health, optimizing queries, managing backups and recovery procedures, and overseeing user access and permissions. The Database Administrator will implement and maintain database replication and high-availability solutions, troubleshoot performance and reliability issues,



and support development teams with schema changes and data-related requests. The role also involves contributing to database design decisions, documenting standards and procedures, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to support scalable growth.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust skills in core Database Administration and general Databases management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Database Design and implementing efficient data models.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting database issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Candidates should possess skills in configuring and maintaining Replication and high-availability solutions.
- Experience with SQL-based relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and familiarity with cloud-hosted database services.
