About Sidhakala

Sidhakala Group of Industries, founded in 1997, manufactures precision sheet-metal press components, welded assemblies and press tools for the automotive industry.

We are looking for an experienced
Head – Quality
who can lead customer, process, supplier and system-quality functions across our manufacturing operations.

Mandatory Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production or Automobile Engineering.
- Minimum
10–15 years of quality experience
in an automotive manufacturing company.
- Minimum
3–5 years in a quality leadership or managerial role
.
- Experience must be specifically in
sheet-metal press components, stamped components and welded assemblies
.
- Candidates with experience only in machining, plastics, casting, forging, electronics or unrelated manufacturing processes will not be suitable.
- Robust knowledge of press-shop operations,



sheet-metal defects, welding defects, tooling-related quality issues and dimensional inspection.
- Working knowledge of
IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and automotive customer-specific requirements
.
- Hands-on experience with
APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, 8D, CAPA and 7 QC Tools
.
- Experience in handling automotive OEM or Tier-1 customer audits, complaints, line rejections and scorecards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead incoming, in-process, final, customer, supplier and system-quality functions.
- Establish and maintain quality systems in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
- Handle customer complaints, line rejections and field concerns through containment, root-cause analysis and timely 8D closure.
- Monitor customer PPM, internal rejection, rework, scrap and Cost of Poor Quality.
- Ensure effective inspection and process controls for sheet-metal press components and welded assemblies.
