Role Description The Health Officer is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Coimbatore Area, responsible for overseeing health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives related to AYCA23 activities and events. This role includes planning and implementing health protocols, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating emergency response plans for gatherings, workshops, and field activities. The Health Officer will monitor health-related compliance with local regulations and internal standards, maintain health records, and prepare clear reports and recommendations for leadership. Daily tasks involve collaborating with program teams, local health providers, and partner organizations, conducting health awareness sessions, and ensuring appropriate first aid and medical support are available at all times. The role also includes contributing to policies linking climate impacts and public health, supporting capacity building for staff and volunteers, and participating in continuous improvement of health and safety practices.

- Candidates should possess robust public health and health management skills, including experience with health promotion, disease prevention, and community health programs.
