To be successful as a Mainframe Infrastructure Analyst, you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications
- Have good knowledge of COBOL, DB2, IMS, CICS, REXX, JCL, TWS
- Has expert knowledge of REXX.
- Has Expert knowledge of the TWS scheduling tool and JCL (Job control language).
- Having prior experience on Test Environment support.
- Analytical ability including root cause identification and pro-active service improvement.
- Proactive identification of possible major incidents. Provides the governance,



technical authority, leadership, and direction necessary for the resolution of technical issues.
- Subject matter expert in one or more key area and can represent the whole of the Infrastructure Component to a wider audience. Can act as a contact person for the area for current high scope infrastructural changes.
- Provides direction for technology within specialist area. Demonstrates broad-based view of business issues and activities. Demonstrates excellent influencing skills to input into the platform strategy for Barclays.
- Outstanding problem diagnosis using analytical skills.
