We are looking for an organic growth and conversation expert to spearhead our Instagram direct message sales strategy. You will be responsible for transforming our engaged followers and inbound inquiries into paying customers. This is not a performance marketing or paid ads role; this is a highly relational role focused on conversational design, lead qualification, and 1-to-1 social selling.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conversational Funnel Design & Implementation
- Build, map, and optimize chat sequences that take followers from "commenting" to "buying".
- Develop welcome messages, automated story-reply flows, and keyword triggers designed to capture email addresses and phone numbers.
- Collaborate with the content team to create posts and Reels that naturally drive high-intent, targeted conversations in the comments,DMs,etc.
2. Lead Qualification & Sales
- Act as the primary conversationalist in the Instagram inbox, building rapport and trust with potential clients.
- Qualify prospects by asking strategic questions to determine if they are a fit for our products/services.
- Utilize voice notes, video messages, and personalized text to overcome objections and close sales natively within the app.
3. Automation Strategy & Integration
- Set up, manage, and scale Meta-approved DM automation tools (e.g., ManyChat or CreatorFlow) for "Comment-to-DM" campaigns.
- Set up rule-based AI agents to answer frequently asked questions and triage messages 24/7.
- Route qualified leads seamlessly into our CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) or handover to the sales team.
4. Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Track key DM metrics including open rates, response times, lead-to-sale conversion rates, and chat abandonment.
- A/B test different messaging scripts and follow-up sequences to continuously improve conversion rates.
- Report monthly on revenue directly generated from Instagram DM channels.
