We are seeking a motivated professional with experience in procurement, tendering, or B2B sales who can identify business opportunities, engage potential customers, understand procurement workflows, and support bid management activities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with procurement teams, consultants, government vendors, and SMEs.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify and reach out to potential customers using outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, and networking.
- Schedule product demonstrations with procurement teams, consultants, and business owners.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Follow up with prospects and convert leads into paying customers.
- Maintain CRM records and sales activity reports.
Bid & Procurement Support
- Understand tender and RFP requirements.
- Assist with bid preparation and submission processes.
- Help identify suitable tender opportunities.
- Stay updated with government procurement portals such as GeM and state e-procurement platforms.
Required Skills
- Experience in procurement,
tender management, government bidding, or B2B sales.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and tender portals.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and procurement documents.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable using CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and productivity software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with GeM, eProcurement portals, or public procurement.
- Existing network of procurement professionals, consultants, or vendors.
- Knowledge of RFPs, RFQs, and government purchasing procedures.
- Experience in SaaS sales or procurement technology is an added advantage.
