Role Description
The Senior Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Panipat. The Senior Merchandiser will manage the end-to-end merchandising process, including product development, sampling, and coordination with design, production, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate order execution. This role involves regular communication with international buyers, understanding their requirements, preparing costings, negotiating prices, and tracking orders from inquiry to shipment. The Senior Merchandiser will analyze market trends, product performance, and customer feedback to guide assortment planning and propose new product ideas.



Daily responsibilities also include maintaining detailed documentation, monitoring inventory and production schedules, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust Communication skills to interact effectively with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Sales skills to manage client relationships, handle inquiries, and support order conversions.
- Candidates should possess Retail and Marketing skills to understand market trends, product positioning, and consumer preferences.
- Candidates should possess relevant merchandising experience in textiles or home furnishings, including product development and order management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and planning abilities, with proficiency in MS Office and basic data reporting.
