What Is the Wipro SIM Program?
The Wipro SIM program is a collaborative education and employment initiative. It allows diploma graduates to:
- Work full-time at Wipro as IT professionals
- Simultaneously pursue a B.Tech in Information Systems from a government-recognized “Institute of Eminence”
- Get their degree expenses sponsored by Wipro
This four-year work-integrated learning program blends technical training, soft skill development, and real-world industry exposure.
Who Can Apply: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- 10th and 12th Grade: Must be passed
- Diploma: Minimum 50% marks required
- Eligible Streams:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Electronics
- Telecommunication
- Computer Engineering
- Electronics & Communication
- Computer Science & Technology
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Year of Diploma Completion
- Candidates who have completed or are completing their Diploma in 2024 or 2025 are eligible.
Additional Criteria
- Core Mathematics must have been studied in the Diploma course.
- Business/Applied Mathematics will not be considered.
- A maximum of one active backlog is allowed at the time of assessment (to be cleared before 6th semester).
- Up to 3 years of education gap allowed between 10th and Diploma.
- Only full-time diploma courses are accepted; no distance or part time diplomas.
- Open schooling is accepted for 10th/12th.
- Applicants must be Indian citizens, or possess a PIO/OCI card if holding a foreign passport.
- Minimum age requirement at the time of joining: 18 years
- Candidates must not have appeared in any Wipro selection process in the past 3 months.
