ROLE OVERVIEW
The Clinical Coordinator is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing clinical operations, coordinating patient care services, and ensuring quality healthcare delivery at the state or district level. This role requires a qualified medical professional with robust organizational, administrative, and clinical expertise to bridge clinical care delivery with operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Operations Management
Coordinate and oversee daily clinical activities across healthcare facilities within the assigned state or district
Monitor patient care quality and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standard operating procedures
Implement and enforce clinical policies, guidelines, and best practices across all service delivery points
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, medical ethics, and patient safety standards
Conduct regular clinical audits and quality assurance assessments
Team Leadership and Supervision
Provide clinical guidance and supervision to medical staff, nurses, and allied health professionals
Coordinate staff scheduling, assignments, and workload distribution to optimize resource utilization
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to clinical team members
Facilitate training programs and continuing medical education for clinical staff
Support recruitment, onboarding, and capacity building initiatives
Patient Care Coordination
Oversee patient scheduling, appointment management, and care pathway coordination
Ensure timely and efficient delivery of clinical services and treatments
Monitor patient outcomes and implement corrective measures for quality improvement
Address patient concerns, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
Collaborate with specialists and referral centers to ensure continuity of care
