Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a Software Engineer Intern. As a Software Engineer Intern at ENIGMA GENOMICS, you will be involved in back-end web development, software development, and programming. Your day-to-day tasks will include contributing to the development of our sequencing platform and supporting the implementation of algorithms for genomic analysis.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with our experienced team of developers to design, develop, and maintain React Native applications.
- Implement new features and functionality to enhance user experience.
- Write clean, productive, and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app development.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and graduating in 2027 or 2028.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and the React Native framework.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Eager to learn and experiment.
- Focused commitment of 20 hours per week.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience with mobile app development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
