This is a build-heavy, high-ownership seat. If you want to architect a platform, own it from the first schema to production, and be the engineer the product actually depends on, this is that role.

About the Role

You are the technical backbone of a data-heavy, AI-integrated platform. You own its architecture, you build the core, you integrate the AI, and you take it all the way to production on AWS and keep it running. This is not a features-in-someone-else-codebase role. You design the system, you make the calls, and you own the outcome end to end.

You work directly with the client, and alongside developers. The platform's backend, its architecture, and its path to production are yours, and so are the client relationship, communication, and delivery.





What You'll Own
- The platform architecture and the backend core: services, data models, and APIs, built by you, not just specced out
- The data layer: ingestion, storage, entity resolution, de-duplication, and retention
- The integrations and AI: email and messaging APIs (Microsoft Graph / Outlook etc), document and file ingestion, and LLM capabilities plugged in with proper guardrails and evaluation
- The full lifecycle on AWS: build, deploy, operate, and keep it reliable in production
- Client expectations, communication, and delivery: you are the technical point of contact, and you own that what ships actually lands

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Turn product requirements into a platform architecture and a concrete build plan
- Build and ship the backend and its pipelines: high-volume email ingestion, data management, document extraction, and LLM integration
