Job description
- Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with a solid background in testing and validation. Having knowledge in the HCM domain. Like Talent, Recruitment, and Employee Management modules are highly preferred. Additionally, at least 1+ years of Python coding experience is required. The ideal candidate will work as part of a cross-functional team to qualify current implementations, ensure compliance with customer requirements, and contribute to software quality improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
Testing and Validation:
- Act as the primary QA responsible for testing and qualifying new implementations.
- Verify and validate implementation requirements for new customers based on gathered requirements and enhancements.
- Ensure the Phenom platform complies with customer use cases and software requirements.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the QA Lead to document the scope of work from the discovery workbook (customer requirements).
- Develop and execute test plans based on the scope of work criteria.
- Identify and capture bugs in the bug tracking database (e.g., JIRA).
Test Development and Execution:
- Develop higher complexity test cases and select appropriate test suites.
- Execute testing activities, including negative and backward compatibility scenarios, for customer software releases.
- Perform troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive root cause identification and resolution.
Automation and Process Improvement:
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to validate software functionality.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement in software product development and processes.
- Champion the implementation of best practices across QA activities.
Project Management:
- Independently manage schedules for assigned projects and deliverables.
- Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders to ensure deliverables are on time and not on the critical path.
