Roles & Responsibility (Job Profile)

Plan and achieve daily production targets.
Control plating processes, bath chemistry, pH, temperature, current and coating quality.
Reduce rejection, rework and downtime through root cause analysis.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning and Stores.
Ensure preventive maintenance and optimum equipment utilization.
Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean, TPM and safety practices.
Lead and develop supervisors and operators.
Maintain production, quality and chemical consumption records.
Sound knowledge of decorative and functional plating processes such as:
Nickel Plating
Chrome Plating
Copper Plating Including Acid copper plating
Zinc Plating
Brass Plating
Satin Nickel Plating
PVD Coating (preferred)
Competency (Candidate Profile)

Diploma/BE in Mechanical, Chemical, Production or Metallurgy.
6-10 years in electroplating/surface finishing; 2+ years in team handling.
Knowledge of Nickel, Chrome,



Zinc, Copper, Brass plating, Electrophoretic lacquering and PVD preferred.
Solid troubleshooting, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of OEE, 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA, MS Excel and SAP.
Knowledge of: Surface preparation and pretreatment, Degreasing and cleaning processes, Pickling and activation, Electroplating principles, Current density calculations, Voltage and amperage control, Plating thickness control, Adhesion and corrosion performance requirement.
