Role: Databricks Genie & Power BI Copilot Technical Lead
Role Summary
Technical lead responsible for designing, configuring, and scaling Genie spaces and
Power BI Copilot solutions for one or more business domains.
Key Responsibilities
 Configure and manage Genie spaces endtoend, including semantic models and
texttoSQL workflows
 Design and optimize Power BI semantic models to enable Copilot and AIdriven
insights
 Translate business requirements into scalable data models, SQL logic, and
analytics solutions
 Build and support Power BI dashboards (DAX, data prep, visualizations) ready
for AI integration
 Partner with business and domain teams to drive adoption and solution quality
Required Skills
 Advanced SQL and robust semantic modeling / data design experience
 Handson Power BI development (DAX, datasets, dashboards)
 Ability to bridge business questions to technical implementation
 Domain experience (e.g., Sales, Supply Chain) a plus but not a must-have – do
not filter candidates out if they meet the above but do not have this experience in
Sales/Supply chain
