- Implementation and optimization of Packet Core Network (4G is mandatory, 5G experience is an advantage)
- Knowledge of interfaces between networking elements like RAN and Core is required.
- Experience with customer interaction for technical problem-solving.
Primary:
- Excellent Understanding of 3GPP standards
- Hands on experience with RAN, CORE, IMS from global OEMs, Private/Enterprise Grade Products
- Experience on 4G/5G integration – Multi Vendor Solution
- Experience on QoS parameter,
capacity planning as per requirement for a 3GPP compliant Cellular network.
- Strong knowledge in radio air interface, call processing technologies with a deep understanding on 5G call flows
- 5G Network architecture specifically focused on Radio Access Network (Specifically integration and interfaces to core network, and architecture for implementation of Multi Carrier eNodeB/gNodeB, VoLTE/VoNR)
- Deep understanding in 4G and 5G Packet CORE (EPC, 5G Core) for integration with RAN (eNodeB and/or gNodeB) Network Architecture and Protocols.
- Knowledge on End user devices
- Ability to capture/analyse packets IEs and troubleshoot network issues
- Documentation, Interaction with Customer, Vendor, OEM and Certification Agencies.
- Understanding the requirement of the Project/Customer and preparing Project lifecycle documents
- Experience of testing 4G/5G networks & network layer protocols
