Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full time, remote role responsible for driving growth through strategic partnerships and client acquisition for The Skill Lounge’s training and placement solutions. In this role, the manager identifies and qualifies prospective clients, conducts consultative sales conversations, and presents tailored solutions that align with client workforce and talent development needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and managing a pipeline, scheduling and leading virtual meetings and demos, preparing proposals,



negotiating terms, and closing agreements. The manager collaborates with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, monitors client satisfaction, and seeks opportunities to expand existing relationships. The role also involves market research, participation in virtual events, and ongoing reporting on business development activities and performance metrics.

Qualifications
- Strong business development, sales, and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client partnerships.
- Experience in consultative selling, solution design for corporate or institutional clients, and negotiating commercial terms.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends in training and talent development, and identify new growth opportunities.
