Role & responsibilities :
- Operate PET-CT/CT equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Prepare and educate patients prior to examinations.
- Perform daily quality checks and routine calibration of PET-CT equipment.
- Verify patient history, serum creatinine levels, and IV access before contrast administration.
- Monitor patients during and after contrast administration and provide immediate assistance if required.
- Position patients accurately and ensure optimal image quality.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain patient safety, privacy, and comfort.
- Assist Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians during imaging procedures.
- Maintain equipment, imaging records, departmental statistics,
and inventory.
- Perform CD/image printing and other departmental duties as assigned.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- Hands-on experience in PET-CT procedures, Nuclear Medicine procedures, and Radionuclide Therapy.
- Sound knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
