Job Description Summary

Advanced Lead Engineer Product Definition operates as a lead responsible for their assigned modules/Rig/domain deliverables meeting customer, partner and program needs. In this role individual will work with engineering, supply chain and other business functional teams to deliver complex aircraft engine designs. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability. This role will utilize their expertise to mentor and train team members while participating in section, department wide continuous improvement and simplification initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities
- Create definition of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 2D drawings, 3D reusable models in a linked model environment, tolerance stack-ups, change in design co- authoring and various other electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, quality and inspection within expected cost, quality, and schedule




- Demonstrates domain expertise and skills, has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Provide technical guidance to other team members that influences outcomes to other people supporting moderate complexity projects and/or tasks and uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/program/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Takes current perspective on existing solutions.
- Proactively identifies and helps others recognize lessons learned and conduct self-reviews/peer reviews to ensure that appropriate standards and procedures are incorporated in the process.
- Works with engineering and supply chain partners to determine dimensional constraints and geometric tolerances required for proper clearances and fit
