Role & responsibilities

Electrical Design Engineer.

Experience: 3-8 years

Notice period Immediate to 30 Days

Qualifications & Experience • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in CAD tools, including IGE-XAO, E3 Series (E3S), and AutoCAD
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems in Metro, Light Rail, or EMU rolling stock Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of harness design, wiring, integrated/CPS schematics
- Knowledge of train systems and the railway industry (preferred)
- Familiarity with interface requirements
- Competence in selecting electrical equipment such as:
- Switchgear • Protection devices
- Circuit breakers (CB)
- Relays, contactors
- Connectors, terminals, and related components
- Experience in component selection and sizing
- Understanding of railway standards
- Knowledge of traction systems, door control, communication systems, and other key rolling stock subsystems
- Ability to understand and interpret vehicle architecture Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local site language
- Electrical Engineers with schematic experience
