Role Description
The Sr. Merchandiser – Hard Goods is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for managing the complete merchandising cycle for hard goods within the home decor industry, including product development, sampling, costing, price negotiations, and order execution.



Daily activities include coordinating with design and production teams, tracking order status, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Sr. Merchandiser will communicate with international buyers, respond to inquiries, prepare presentations, and manage the supply of their goods. The Sr. Merchandiser is the owner of their product and their order. The role also involves monitoring trends, evaluating competitor offerings, and collaborating with marketing to position hard goods effectively in key markets.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of and 5+ years proven work in merchandising for hard goods made with iron, aluminum and wood.
- Strong communication skills in English, including clear written and verbal interaction with internal teams and international buyers.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
