Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and organized Inventory & Store Manager to manage the company's inventory and store operations across construction projects. The role involves maintaining stock records, ensuring timely availability of materials, supervising store activities, conducting stock audits, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all materials and inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are available as required.
- Plan timely replenishment of stock.
- Identify slow-moving and excess inventory.
- Minimise material wastage, shortages, and pilferage.
- Prepare regular inventory reports.

Store Operations
- Manage the receipt, storage, issue, and return of materials.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards in the store.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.




- Supervise store staff and site store operations.

Material Receipt & Issue
- Verify materials received against Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans.
- Coordinate with site teams for material inspection.
- Issue materials against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Maintain complete records of inward and outward material movement.

Stock Verification
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Reconcile stock differences and prepare variance reports.
- Support internal and external audits.

Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Procurement for material requirements.
- Work closely with Project and Accounts teams for stock reconciliation.
- Prepare daily and monthly stock reports.
- Maintain GRNs, Gate Passes, Delivery Challans, Material Issue Slips, and other store records.

Compliance
- Follow company policies and store procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits.
