Job Responsibilities
1. Cost Analysis & Control:
Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and labor (ATH) to identify cost-saving opportunities
and improve operational efficiency.
2. Job Work Monitoring:
Develop and streamline processes for job work activities within inter-company transactions and
ensure compliance with GST provisions.
3. Variance Analysis:
Prepare and publish Standard Cost vs. Actual Production Cost reports to analyze and explain
4. Inventory & Valuation: Monitor stock levels based on production plans and monthly consumption patterns. Ensure accurate valuation of inventory, including WIP. 5. Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on cost variances, slow/non-moving items, and profitability.
Coordinate with respective channel heads to assist in customer pricing decisions. 6. Physical Verification of Inventory: Conduct periodic physical inventory checks, monitor cycle count programs, and publish variance reports for book adjustments. 7. Purchase Order Approvals: Review and approve purchase orders along with price comparison charts to ensure procurement at fair market prices. 8. Verification of Purchase Bills: Verify purchase and service invoices and submit weekly observation reports for management review and corrective action. 9. Surprise Floor Visits: Conduct weekly surprise floor visits and report deviations from company policies or any activities leading to excess cost incurrence.
