- Safely operate company trucks to transport goods to customer locations.
- Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Deliver products on time as per the delivery schedule.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Ensure all delivery documents, invoices, e-way bills, and PODs (Proof of Delivery) are accurately handled.
- Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Plan routes efficiently to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, toll receipts, and vehicle logbooks.
- Coordinate with the dispatch, warehouse, and customer teams regarding delivery status.
- Ensure proper care and security of goods during transportation.
- Report accidents, delays, breakdowns, or any emergencies immediately to the supervisor.
- Comply with all statutory and legal transportation requirements.
- Assist with loading and unloading when required.
- Be available for outstation trips and work flexible schedule as per business requirements.
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience driving commercial trucks.
- Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety.
- Ability to travel long distances and work flexible schedules.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Physically fit and capable of handling loading/unloading activities.
- Good communication skills and a responsible attitude.
- No major traffic violations or criminal record.
