Purpose of the Role:
R&D; Scientist will be required to devise a general plan and detailed experimental approach for recent product development. He / She will be responsible for all aspects of design phase of development through process transfer into manufacturing.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and Coordinate Research Projects
Develop research plans, design experiments, and coordinate activities in the R&D; lab to support the development of new aroma chemicals and improvement of existing ones.
- Prototype & Product Development
Prepare laboratory-scale samples and prototypes of new aroma molecules, formulations, or blends, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.
- Technology Evaluation & Process Improvement
Investigate new technologies, raw materials, and methodologies. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Experimental Design & Documentation
Design experimental protocols, conduct laboratory trials, analyze results,
and prepare comprehensive reports to document findings and outcomes.
- Compliance & Quality Standards
Ensure all research and product development activities comply with internal quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Problem Solving & Innovation
Identify technical challenges, propose innovative solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Scale-up & Technology Transfer
Support process optimization, pilot plant trials, and technology transfer from laboratory to production scale while ensuring consistency and quality.
- Scientific Contribution
Stay updated with the latest scientific developments in aroma chemistry. Contribute knowledge and expertise to strengthen the companys R&D; capabilities.
Functional Competencies
