precision machine tool components
such as
Disc Springs, Safety Washers, Couplings (Bellow, Elastomer, Distance, etc.),
supplying to
machine manufacturers and OEM/Automotive companies among others across India
.
We are looking for a
Sales Engineer
to assist in
Business Development
related to these industrial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Market research & lead generation:
Research and map industry segments in India, identify potential customers and businesses within each target segment; create and maintain a structured prospect list and pipeline.
- Dealer/distributor development:
Identify and evaluate potential dealers/partners in defined regions; coordinate communication and activities.
- Customer outreach:
Initiate contact with current prospects (email/phone/online meetings) and follow up with existing customers.
- Technical sales:
Understand applications and translate customer needs into suitable product recommendations, coordinate technical clarifications as needed.
- Customer visits & key accounts:
Plan and execute customer trips to key account locations; conduct meetings, product discussions.
- Quotations & sales administration:
Prepare and manage pricing, quotations, and customer requests; track offers, revise quotes, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Reporting:
Maintain records of leads, visits, quotations, and sales activity; provide periodic updates on pipeline, market feedback, and competitor insights.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech)/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Excellent spoken and written English
(fluent) (mandatory).
- Strong willingness to learn engineering products and applications, and the ability to explain them clearly to customers and dealers (mandatory).
- Comfortable with a field-sales role and
willingness to travel
across India (
