About The Role
We are hiring a Senior Design Manager to lead a pod within our design organization, owning both the craft quality and the business outcomes of the work shipped by their team. This is a role for a seasoned design leader — someone who has managed senior designers and design leads, shipped work at scale, and earned the judgement that comes from years of operating inside complex,



cross-functional environments. You will manage a team of product designers

embedded across product verticals, partner closely with product, engineering, research, and editorial, and act as a trusted peer to senior leadership across the business. You will report into the Head of Design and play a key role in shaping how design operates as a strategic function within the organization. If you’ve been doing this long enough to know what good looks like —and how to get a team there — then this role is for you.

Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of product designers. Own growth opportunities, performance conversations, feedback loops, and hiring. Create the conditions where designers do the best work of their careers.
- Craft & Quality: Set and uphold the design quality bar across your pod. Lead critiques, give sharp feedback, and intervene directly on work when it matte
