Job Description Windows & Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration, Azure Infrastructure, Hyper-V Administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Failover Clustering, Networking, Performance Tuning, Patch Management, and Windows Server upgrades in enterprise production environments.
- Experience in customer-facing technical support and IT infrastructure operations.
- Willingness to work in a 247 support workplace and follow ITIL processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for Windows Server and Azure Infrastructure environments.
- Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and identity services.
- Deploy, configure, and administer Hyper-V hosts and Virtual Machines.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Failover Clusters.
- Perform Windows Server OS patching, Hyper-V host patching, and Windows upgrades with minimal downtime.
- Provision and manage Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks,



Storage Accounts, and Resource Groups.
- Configure Azure Networking including VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN Gateway, and hybrid connectivity.
- Implement Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery solutions.
- Manage Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Identity & Access Management.
- Monitor infrastructure health using Azure Monitor, Performance Monitor (PerfMon), Event Viewer, ProcMon, and NetMon.
- Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and infrastructure optimization.
- Investigate incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and provide permanent resolutions.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Microsoft support to resolve critical production issues.
