A highly analytical and legally qualified Contracts Manager (with an LLB degree) to lead contract administration, risk mitigation, and claims management across our portfolio of civil engineering and construction projects. In this role, you will be the primary authority on contractual compliance, translating intricate legal clauses into actionable strategies for our project implementation units and site engineering teams. The ideal candidate will combine rigorous legal acumen with a deep understanding of standard construction contract frameworks to safeguard the company from commercial vulnerabilities, delays, and litigious exposures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Drafting, Review & Negotiation
- Structure and Drafting: Author, review, and negotiate high-value contract agreements, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) models, Item Rate/Percentage contracts, sub-contracts, Joint Venture (JV) agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Standard Frameworks: Maintain deep proficiency in standard national and international forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC,



CPWD, or state-specific standard bidding documents).
- Pre-bid Support: Analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs), tender documents, and commercial terms to highlight potential legal pitfalls or high-risk clauses prior to bidding.

2. Claim Management & Dispute Resolution
- Claim Identification: Proactively identify, track, and document valid delay events, variations, extra items, and scope changes.
- Extension of Time (EOT): Draft robust, legally backed Extension of Time (EOT) claims and monetary compensation claims due to breaches, Right of Way (RoW) delays, or prolonged project durations.
- Dispute Mitigation: Represent the company in contract dispute meetings, conciliation proceedings, and arbitration preparation, acting as the bridge between site management and external legal counsel.
