The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Accountant to own the day-to-day accounting function across all current and upcoming branches. The person will set up clean books, ensure statutory and tax compliance, and bring branch-level financial visibility as the company scales.

The role suits someone with strong core accounting experience who is ready to step up into broader responsibility - multi-branch reporting, GST and statutory ownership, and basic branch-level P&L; tracking.

Responsibilities

1. Books of Accounts - Maintain accurate day-to-day books for the company and all branches. Manage journal entries, ledgers, bank reconciliations, vendor and customer ledgers, and month-end closing. Ensure books are clean, current, and audit ready.

2. GST, TDS and Statutory Compliance - Own end-to-end GST compliance input credit reconciliation, monthly returns (GSTR-1, GSTR- 3B), annual returns. Manage TDS deduction, deposit and quarterly returns. Ensure professional tax, PF/ESIC remittances, and other statutory filings are accurate and on time.

Branch-Level Financial Tracking - Track revenue, expenses and key cost lines (rent, equipment, overheads, salaries) at a per-branch level. Produce easy monthly branch-level statements so leadership can see which branches are performing and where costs are drifting. As the company scales, build the foundation for full branch P&L; reporting.

4. Payables, Receivables & Bank Operations - Process vendor invoices, run timely payments, and maintain vendor accounts. Track customer receivables (where applicable), manage bank operations, fund transfers between branches, and daily cash-flow visibility for the founder.

5. Payroll Inputs Coordination - Coordinate with HR for monthly payroll inputs - attendance, leaves, reimbursements, statutory deductions. Process payroll disbursements and ensure all related statutory remittances are filed correctly.

6. Monthly Management Reporting - Produce a clean monthly financial pack for the founder
