Position : Design Engineer

Total Years of Experience: 4-6 years

Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Automotive design engineer in Commercial Vehicle domain Must Relevant Industries: Automotive

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design and documentation for Special applications -Customer/homologation demand of market -
2. Design retro fitment solution compliant to Body building technical guideline/special application.
3. The candidate would need to interact and align with global group companies and external partners for development areas. Must to Have:
4. Robust knowledge commercial vehicle types , categories and relevant Global legislation,
5. Strong knowledge in commercial special applications and integrations
6. Good know how in preparation of vehicle and system level specifications.
7. Good Knowledge in vehicle level aggregates, component ,



system Design and validation requirements Knowledge in Body building for different applications
8. Good Know how in Product development processes and design methods- like DFMEA , DFA , FMEA .
9. Good knowhow of maintaining design documentation in PLM as well as generate a Bill of material..
10. Strong Knowledge of GD&T;, should be able to do tolerance stack up - Good know how of Geometrical Assurance -
11. Expert in CATIA V5 modules .
12. Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster a supportive working environment
13. Good to Have: - Understanding Electric vehicle and its aggregates - Understanding Vehicle Electrical system
14. Understanding of Automations(VBA/CATIA macro/programming). - German A1 level language knowledge
