Role Description
The Food and Beverage Captain is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for supervising daily front-of-house operations at client venues. This role oversees service teams, ensures adherence to established service standards, and coordinates food service to maintain smooth and efficient operations. The Food and Beverage Captain leads pre-service briefings, assigns sections, monitors table turns, and supports staff during peak hours.



They interact with guests to ensure high-quality customer service, manage feedback or complaints, and maintain clear communication between the service team and the kitchen. The role also involves training and mentoring team members, monitoring hygiene and safety practices, and supporting implementation of DinerGuru’s SOPs and best practices.

Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and guide service teams.
- Knowledge of service standards and best practices in restaurant and hospitality environments.
- Hands-on experience in food service operations, including table service and coordination with kitchen teams.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and handling feedback professionally.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating staff, interacting with guests, and reporting to management.
