About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage day-to-day accounting along with full ownership of GST and TDS compliances. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Tally, comfortable on government e-filing portals, and able to take accounts through to finalisation with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain complete books of accounts, journal entries, and general ledger accuracy.
- Manage GST compliance end to end: computation, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 filing, input tax credit reconciliation (2A/2B), and handling notices.
- Manage TDS compliance: deduction, payment, Monthly return filing (24Q/26Q), and generation of Form 16/16A.
- Handle bank reconciliation, party/ledger reconciliation, and petty/cash vouchers.
- Record sales, purchase, payment, and receipt vouchers accurately.
- Prepare data for finalisation of accounts, balance sheet, and P&L.;
- Support statutory audit with schedules, documentation, and queries.
- Maintain organised document files and records for accounts, tax, and compliance.




- Prepare bank documents (letters, forms, statements, and related correspondence).
- Maintain and reconcile credit card statements, and ensure credit card dues are paid on time.
- Draft and prepare email letters and official correspondence.
- Ensure timely filing and adherence to all statutory due dates.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Tally / Tally ERP.
- In-depth working knowledge of GST and TDS provisions and filing procedures.
- Proficiency with GST and TDS e-filing portals.
- Good command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).
- Experience with Zoho Books / QuickBooks (preferred).
- Experience in accounts finalisation, book-keeping, and audit documentation.
- Positive documentation and record-keeping skills; ability to draft professional emails and bank letters.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
