General Manager - Technical PPC - Plastic Packaging Industry

Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Oversee the production planning processes across multiple plants to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance on Injection Blow Molding and Injection Stretch Blow Molding processes.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Resource Management: Manage resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, across 5+ plants in India.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance production efficiency.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for production activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor plant managers and production teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with other departments (e.g., sales,



marketing, logistics) and external stakeholders to align production capabilities with market demands.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Plastics, or related field) or an MBA with a focus on operations management.
- Experience: Proven experience in production management within the plastic packaging industry, specifically with rigid plastics and molding techniques.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams across multiple locations.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of injection molding processes and machinery.
- Analytical Skills: Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to address production challenges effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
