Role & responsibilities
- Supervise all finishing activities including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceilings, joinery, glazing, faade, and external finishes.
- Ensure all finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve site issues.
- Prepare and monitor detailed finishing schedules to achieve project milestones.
- Conduct daily inspections and quality checks to ensure excellent workmanship.
- Manage finishing contractors and subcontractors to ensure productivity and quality.
- Review material samples and ensure only approved materials are used at site.
- Coordinate mock-ups and sample approvals before execution.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Identify defects, prepare snag lists, and ensure timely rectification before handover.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company SOPs, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain site documentation including daily reports,



quality checklists, inspection records, and progress updates.
- Support project handover by ensuring apartments are delivered with zero major defects.
- Work closely with the Quality Control team to maintain premium finishing standards.

Preferred candidate profile
- 8 - 15 years of experience in residential or commercial construction.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in finishing works*.
- Experience in high-rise apartment projects is mandatory.
- Prior experience with reputed builders or developers is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of finishing materials, construction techniques, and quality standards.
- Experience in flooring, marble, granite, vitrified tiles, wooden flooring, painting systems, waterproofing, faade works, aluminium and glazing systems.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, interior, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of IS Codes, NBC, and construction best practices.
