Role Description
This is a full time,



on-site role based in Chennai for an Assistant Manager – Design and Engineering for Highway Projects. The role involves leading and coordinating design activities for highway and associated structures, ensuring compliance with national and international standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. The Assistant Manager will review and validate engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including construction, planning, procurement, and quality to support smooth project execution. Responsibilities include managing design schedules, addressing technical queries, supporting value engineering initiatives, and participating in design reviews with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. The role also requires monitoring design risks, ensuring timely resolution of design-related issues during construction, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and tools.
