One of the world's largest EV charging networks is hiring a Tech Lead to be the primary technical owner and go-to engineer for the pricing, payments and billing platform — a role where getting data consistency and transaction integrity right has direct business and customer impact.

What you'll bring: ✅ 6+ years hands-on Java & Spring Boot in large-scale production systems ✅ Distributed cloud-native microservices — scalability, HA, resiliency, fault isolation ✅ Deep Kafka & event-driven architecture experience ✅ Docker & Kubernetes at scale ✅ Redis and caching strategy tradeoffs ✅ AWS fundamentals & cloud-native design patterns ✅ PostgreSQL + MongoDB ✅ Distributed systems patterns: circuit breakers, retries, backoff,
bulkhead ✅ Payment systems — idempotency, exactly-once processing, no double charging ✅ Audit trails & immutable logging for financial data integrity ✅ Security-first design & zero trust principles ✅ Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, logs & alerting ✅ Strong TDD mindset — unit, integration & contract testing ✅ A natural instinct for using GenAI & up-to-date tooling to work smarter

What you'll own: – Primary technical ownership of the pricing, payments & billing platform (mandatory) – Writing production code and setting the code quality bar for the team – Critical decisions on data consistency, transaction integrity & payment reliability – Root cause analysis on production incidents, driving permanent fixes – Mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar from within
