Role Description
:

This full time, on-site Sales Manager role is based in Mumbai and focuses on B2B sales within the paper packaging industry. The Sales Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and build strong relationships with corporate clients and distributors. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating leads, conducting client meetings, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets. The role also involves analyzing market trends, monitoring competitor activity, and collaborating with internal teams to align product offerings with customer needs. The Sales Manager will provide regular sales forecasts and reports, maintain accurate CRM records, and support long-term customer retention and revenue growth.

Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in B2B sales, ideally within the paper packaging, printing, packaging, or related manufacturing industries.
- Strong skills in sales planning, pipeline management, and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.




- Ability to build and manage client relationships, including key account management and customer service.
- Knowledge of the Mumbai and broader Western India industrial and commercial markets, with experience handling regional or national accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers and close deals.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic sales reporting and analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, travel for client meetings as needed, and collaborate effectively with operations, logistics, and finance teams.
- Demonstrated integrity, customer-centric mindset, and a results-driven, proactive approach to problem-solving.
