Role & responsibilities
- Own end-to-end pursuit strategy for large, complex, multi-stakeholder deals from opportunity qualification through submission and orals.
- Partner with Client/Account Leads, Partners, and Solution Architects to define win themes, value propositions, and differentiators tailored to client needs.
- Lead competitive positioning through market, client, and competitor intelligence; translate insights into actionable pursuit strategy.
- Drive pursuit governance including go/no-go decisions, pursuit planning, milestone tracking, and risk/quality reviews (e.g., color-team reviews).
- Orchestrate cross-functional pursuit teams (Solutioning, Pricing/Commercial, Legal, Delivery, Marketing, Graphics) to deliver cohesive, client-ready proposals.
- Lead storyboarding, content strategy, and executive-level messaging for proposal documents and oral presentations.
- Coach and prepare client-facing leadership (Partners/Client Leads) for orals, defense sessions, and executive presentations.
- Collaborate with pricing and commercial teams to ensure strategy, solution,



and commercial constructs are aligned.
- Conduct structured post-pursuit debriefs (win/loss analysis) and drive continuous improvement of pursuit processes, tools, and playbooks.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior pursuit/proposal specialists; contribute to building institutional pursuit capability and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to brand, compliance, and quality standards across all pursuit deliverables.

Preferred candidate profile
- 12+ years of progressive experience in pursuit management, bid management, proposal strategy, business development, or sales enablement preferably within a consulting, IT/ITES, professional services, or large enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated track record of leading and winning large, complex, high-value pursuits (multi-million-dollar deals) in a matrixed, senior-stakeholder setting.
