About the Role
We are looking for an Electronics Sourcing & Procurement Engineer to own the sourcing and purchase of electronic components, small devices, and test tools & equipment that power our CNC system development programme. Working closely with the hardware, firmware, PCB, and test teams, you will translate design and BOM requirements into a reliable, cost-effective, and on-time supply of parts

from active and passive components through connectors, modules, instruments, and lab equipment

while building a strong, qualified vendor base.
This is a hands-on, engineering-aware procurement role: you understand what you are buying, read datasheets and BOMs fluently, and act as the commercial bridge between R&D; and the supplier ecosystem.



With 5 to 10 years in electronics component sourcing, you are expected to own categories end-to-end and keep design projects unblocked; as you grow, you will shape sourcing strategy, vendor scorecards, and cost roadmaps for the hardware group.

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Procurement
- Source and purchase electronic components active (ICs, microcontrollers, FPGAs, power devices), passive (resistors, capacitors, inductors), electromechanical, connectors, and modules against design BOMs.
- Procure small devices, sub-assemblies, sensors, displays, and embedded modules for prototype and production builds.
- Source test tools and equipment oscilloscopes, logic analysers, DMMs, bench power supplies, soldering / rework stations, and specialized instrumentation for the electronics labs.
- Convert engineering BOMs and requisitions into purchase orders with correct part numbers, specifications, and quantities
