We are a US-based engineering company hiring a full-time AutoCAD Drafter in India . You'll prepare pole-line and make-ready drawings for power infrastructure projects across the United States.

Your first assignment is a wood-to-steel pole line transfer project.You should be able to work on a steady pipeline of similar projects. We are looking for someone reliable to grow with us long-term.

Responsibilities
- Prepare plan-and-profile and pole-detail drawings for pole line transfer and make-ready projects
- Work from source material we provide: GIS route maps, narrated field-survey videos, and field notes
- Draft pole positions, attachments, clearances, spans, and make-ready details to our templates and layer standards
- Maintain title blocks, sheet indexes, and organized drawing sets ready for review and permit submission
- Apply red-line markups and revisions from the US team
- Deliver clean, versioned files in DWG and PDF formats

Requirements
- Prior experience working with US clients.




- Familiarity with US utility standards (NESC clearances) and joint-use / make-ready workflows
- 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience in utility, telecom, electrical, or infrastructure work
- Strong AutoCAD skills — plan & profile, layers, blocks, xrefs, title blocks
- Ability to read survey data, GIS maps, and field videos and convert them into accurate drawings
- Understanding of pole framing, attachments, spans, and clearances
- Valuable written English and daily communication (Slack / WhatsApp / email)
- Reliable high-speed internet and a CAD-capable computer
- Available for a full-time, long-term monthly commitment

Preferred (not mandatory)
- Experience with SPIDACalc, O-Calc, Pole Foreman, or Katapult Pro

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
