Job Summary

We are looking for an innovative and experienced R&D; Head to lead the Research & Development function in our electronic manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving product innovation, leading product design and development, managing engineering teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting the successful commercialization of electronic products.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end research and development of electronic products from concept to commercialization.
- Define the R&D; strategy in line with business objectives and market trends.
- Manage product design, prototyping, testing, validation, and product improvements.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, including hardware, embedded systems, firmware, and mechanical design.
- Oversee PCB design, circuit development, component selection, and product optimization.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards (CE, UL, RoHS, EMC, etc.).
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement,



and Supply Chain teams for seamless product transfer to manufacturing.
- Drive innovation, technology adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage R&D; budgets, project timelines, technical documentation, and resource planning.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, patents, and market opportunities to enhance product competitiveness.
- Mentor and develop the R&D; team while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- M.Tech or MBA (Technology Management) is an added advantage.

Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in Electronics R&D; or Product Development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading R&D; teams in the electronics manufacturing industry.
